Final CWPP Report

The City of Monterey, in conjunction with the cities of Carmel-by-the-Sea and Pacific Grove, completed a Community Wildfire Protection Plan project in November 2023. The purpose of the project was to identify priority projects and action items for the areas intended to protect lives property, critical infrastructure and resources, mitigate wildfire risk, and increase community resilience. The final report which includes recommended action plans is now available at https://dudek.maps.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/bf8c1615dfbe47878278f061f4f4ad53/data#page=37. The three (3) cities will use this report and recommended action plans as a guide for future projects and budgeting.
