    In August 2020, the Monterey Sports Center resumed group exercise classes in an outdoor environment only, based on a pay-per-class fee schedule. Due to the recent spike of COVID-19 cases in Monterey County, outdoor exercise classes are canceled through Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

    Please continue to slow the spread of COVID-19 by staying at home, maintaining at least six feet of physical distancing, and wearing a mask even when outside. As of this morning, the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) reported that only 1 out of 20 ICU beds are currently available, and 45 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized.
