Monterey Fire Department Personnel Vaccinations Begin

Based on the State of California's vaccination rollout plan, firefighters and paramedics are next-in-line to receive vaccinations after health care workers. The City of Monterey's Fire Department personnel began receiving vaccinations earlier this week and is expected to be vaccinated by Thursday, January 7. The City's firefighters, paramedics, and other critical personnel serve as first responders in the community.

The City of Monterey's Fire Department serves the communities of Monterey, Sand City, Pacific Grove, Carmel-by-the-Sea, La Mesa Village, Monterey Regional Airport, and Naval Postgraduate School.
